Humax freesat program to DVD

  jorf 14:40 23 Oct 14

I have put a program on a pen-drive from the humax but cannot get it to play on my laptop. I have tried importing this into Ashampoo movie shrink and burn but it tells me there is a missing codec. How can I find which one I need? Any suggestions gratefully received.

Assume its a .ts file

VlC media player will play it and its free.

As per Fruit Bat /\0/\ says (I do this all the time) VLC player will play .ts files on your laptop no prob.

I notice your thread title - are you wanting to also convert/burn the .ts file to a DVD disc?

For converting (to DVD is one option) I use Freemake Video Converter, an excellent program however you need to be very careful when installing to use the custom option and be sure to untick all the crapware that comes packaged with it.
