Humax Foxsat Recorder

I have just purchased and installed this recorder.
When I boot it up after it's auto shutdown I get a message "Do I want to rescan channels" everytime.
Is this normal, and if not how can I stop it appearing every I Boot up.

I have no idea; (I`ve got a Panasonic which has never done that).

No, that behaviour is not normal.

Humax have a very good telephone helpline. I've used them once or twice and always found them very helpful.

You're phoning the company's UK office - not some contractor in foreign parts!

Thanks for that although the number for support has changed you might want to make a note it is
0844 669 8800
Anyway they solved my problem by advising me to do a Factory Reset which I have done and solved the problem.
