Hub

My broadband connection is connected to a Linksys 4 port router. I want to add a hub to extend the network further. Could anyone recommend a suitable hub for home use (not expensive).

Thanks

Russ

If I understand the question properly, a simple ethernet 10/100 card in each computer will give you networking.

Once the computers are connected you can then set them to share the internet connection.

Sorry , should have made myself clearer. I have my network setup already. One of the connections is upstairs(about 70feet away). I want to add another PC ( in the attic) to the network so need a suitable hub to split the connection upstairs ( instead of running another cable 90 feet)

Need a recommendation on what to get, Netgear, 3com,Linksys?

Cheers
Russ
