html editor in outlook

Good morning, I have been running Microsoft Office Student and Teacher 2003 including Outlook. I have moved on to Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007. The 2007 edition does not contain Outook so my thought was to leave 2003 on the computer to use outlook and then use 2007 for the other programmes. My problem is the HTML editor in Outlook, I can not get Word 2007 to be the default programme for opening and editing word documents but at the same time Word 2003 to be HTML editor. At present it is all one programme or nothing. The manner of HTML support has changed from 2003 to 2007 but is it possible to use a fully functional Outlook 2003 on a machine using Word 2007 as the default Word processing program. Many thanks.
