i have recently bought a website, and have uploaded it on to the servers, but none of the pictures or flash files are comming up. The html web pages are in a directory called public_html and the images are in a directory called Thumbnails. Seeing as these are on the same server i thought the html would be something like the below:

img border="0" src="../Thumbnails/ferrariT.jpg" width="173" height="132">

but that doesnt seem to work

Ive uploaded the site from frontpage, and ive yet directory names but still no success. The site name is click here if anyone can help me. The site is provided by ipowerweb

On the first page, the huge gap is for a flash image which is the the SWF directory

are you sure the files are in your FTP server?

ok just looked at the html on your front page

the link for the swf file is going to the dowmload site at macromedia and not linked to your site

i manually used the ftp provided and also used frontpage and the files are on the server.

The flash files are actually linked to the site, "src="../SWF/intro.swf" i dunno what the other links r for, the flash files and pictures worked on a free server on geocities and topcities.

is www digides net your real domain name ? or a mask?

Could you possibly provide the layout of your directories please. If you can give the initial folders that are being displayed when you make your ftp connection and also subfolders of these then it will make it a lot easier to help you.

the directories are:

Pictures - contains large jpg and gif files
SWF - contains swf flash files
Thumbnails - contains small jpg files
images - empty
public_ftp - dunno what this is for, came with the name
public_html - this is where all my html files are

the domain name is my own and not a mask.

i have added the extensions, but they still dont seem to work.

Ive found that if i put all the images and flash files in the public_html directory and then in the html use:

src="click here" width="173" height="132">

it works, but its very time consuming, there must be an easier method
