A mate has an HP computer, approx 2 years old, running ME, and only uses it for Digital photos. It has recently started to run so slowly, it is almost useless. He has called the HP helpline, but as he is out of warranty, the cost for them just to look at it ia horrendous.Does anyone know of some excellent free diagnostic software we can try to remedy his problem?

Further to my thread yesterday you can also purchase a USB2 hard drive 80GB or 120GB they are good value for money as all large files can be stored on them freeing up your computer hard drive, and the drive is plug and play.
