HP postcard printer on Vista

I have an HP475 postcard photo printer that I can't get to work on Vista.

The HP website says that Vista provides the new driver. Vista see the device but I can't print pictures to it.

PSPX can't see the printer in the print preview screen while PS Elements 6 that came with the computer sees the printer, but gives an error to printer and won't print.

site suggests no vista driver but a workaround for your product...

Thanks MAT ALAN, I'll check that out over the weekend.

I don't think Vista will print off of this printer. I'll use an old laptop with XP to print with it.

I'll never buy another HP product if they don't do anything to make a reasonable recent printer work on a newer OS.

"IN fact virtually any printer will work with Vista provided it has usb connections ( in other words dates from within the last 8(?) years)" From click here

There must be something not happening right on my new Vista system as my epson R200 doesn't print either...?

I've just gone through the printer settings in the admin set up, everything is set up as windows says it should be.

Do I really have to replace 2 not too old printers?
