Does anyone know if HP or Microsoft have sorted out a fix/patch to fix the problem where HP Director software does not work properly after installing Internet Explorer v7

Looked at HP site and still not fix. There is a mention of a tempory fix pressing ATL+Space bar keys but this does not work.

Hi, lots of things don't work properly after install if IE7 - but you can revert to IE6 simply by uninstalling IE7 using Control Panel>Add/Remove.

I already know about the keyboard shortcuts and don't understand that Srcipt file stuff. I see there is a download in your link at the verytop of the page but is this really a HP or Microsoft Genuine Fix. Bit worried if it causes damage.

The truthful answer is I do not know. The link came from this site click here which has been reliable for other fixes. My philosophy is if I am not sure then do not do it.

The problem is with HP and the last time I checked they are no futher forward.

I agree, that's why I have switched back to Mozilla Firefox.
