hp all-in-one error1904

I've just uninstalled my old printer and tried to install my new hp all in one. The hardware installs fine, and so does the software to a point, then I get this error message on the screen - error 1904.Module :\WINDOWS\system32\msxm14.dll failed to register.
The only option available is to click ok whereupon it tells me to uninstall and try again. I have done this three times now with no joy.

Have a look on the HP web site to see if there are updated drivers click here

If the "msxm14.dll" file is on your computer (maybe in the WINDOWS\system32 folder) then try manually registering it. To do that go to Start > Run and paste in:

regsvr32 msxm14.dll

click OK. If it registers correctly you will get a message saying so. Then try the install again.
