How tdo I clear Clipboard on XP?

I accidentally hit "yes" to saving the contents of my clipboard (being in a hurry & presuming it was to save work!!) I have tried the help index but it doesn't help. What path do Iuse to get to the clipboard and clear it?

This should do it - if you go to start > run and type in "clipbrd.exe" (without the quotation marks), it should open the clipboard viewer and from there you will be able to delete the contents.

clipbrd.exe is in C:\windows\system32 you can create a shortcut to it by 1. doing a search for it 2. navigate to it in exlorer

right click the file, select create shortcut and then drag the shortcut to your desktop.
