How to Superimpose pictures

  belayer 20:04 04 Dec 07

I am creating a flyer and want to superimpose two images one on top of the other to make a logo. The top picture will obviously need to have a transparent background.

Can I do that? Any ideas how?

I do very little work with pictures so the only 'grapics' program I have is a very old Paint Shop Pro (which doesn't recognise GIFs. I use XP.

in many programs its called layering you should try and find a selection that says add new layer

Thanks for that, I think my old Version 4 of PSP is too old, it doesn't even list 'layering' in the help index.

Is there anything in Windows that will do it?

im not sure to be honest i dont think so....consider upgrading its the only way how i think
or copy and past another picture into it and resize it...

This should do it. I use DPlus 6 but this version is free.
