how do I stop a web site that I visit from clocking my email address. I notice that occasionally i get a spam email from a web site I have visited in the last week or so.

is this possible or just a strange coincidence.

I have NAV and Norton firewall.

the norton web site security check shows ioo% secure.

this website you mentioned - have you completed an online registration form? or entered your e-mail address anywhere on the site? You could go to tools/message rules and filter them out that way. One thing I learned a while back, do NOT enter your main (pop3) e-mail address on any forums, registration pages etc - instead, set up a Hotmail, Yahoo or similar net e-mail account and use that instead. Hope this helps.
