how to speed "boot up"

Running XP pro but seems to take rather a long time to boot up. The bottom right pane ?start up menu seems to have a lot of things on it! have run msconfig but not really sure what to untick?

There is really no need to switch off your PC when using WXP unless you are worried about electricity bills but even then your PC will only consume a maximum of 400w.

My advise would be to leave it on but just Log Off.

there is also a quick boot up function in the bios make sure it is enabled
