Just upgraded cell phone to Samsung Galaxy GT-S5830. Want to use "Apache" as ringtone. Been such a long time that I can't remember how to do it! Help, please?

Thanks for help, and apologies for stupidity!

Here you go. Samsung Kies.

Unfortunately Kies won't run properly on XP - and I can't find a USB that fits my mobile - it has a complicated connector which is nothing like an "ordinary" USB, but only a sort of squashed in mini-socket. Thanks for your help - I will keep trying....

Like a mini USB, one of these? Connectors. You can buy a mini USB to USB adapter.

There shouldn't be a problem with Kies on XP provided that you have SP3.

You can also take the microSD card out of the phone and plug it into a USB port via an adapter/reader.

Then just move your ringtone file to the Music or Sounds folder or wherever.
