How To Say Thank You?

This is such a supportive site and I was wondering if there is a way of saying thank you to contributors at the conclusion of resolving a problem?

I don't want to, nor I expect would they want me to, e-mail them individually. Just to tick the item resolved button seems a bit callous!

put a message in saying thanks to all etc and then tick the close box

Your help on saying thank you is greatly appreciated. Will do what you suggest.

The other side of the same coin was extensively aired over the weekend, see click here

To mirror Marg7's valid point, feedback also helps the contributors. There are many occasions where people make suggestions without being wholly confident about the answer.

So if we get feedback saying so-and-so works but such-and-such doesn't (but thanks anyway!), then everyone learns; the original poster, the contributors and other readers. Well, that's the theory... :-)
