how to remove windows "preparing to instal" pop-up

Hey all! This is Crespo calling with the 2nd problem of the night! I've got an annoying pop-up box "windows preparing to instal/installing" which appear when i switch on my lap-top & waiting for the start menu etc. to appear. I'm using windows xp home edition & i've just downloaded a windows tune-up utility from a download site to keep my pc in good shape. So far no problems , but since yesterday ( when i haven't downloaded a thing ) this dialogue box has appeared. Can someone out there help me get rid of it or advise what to do? As always, any help will be v. appreciated. Cheers. C.

select Tools - Startup - and delete anything that should't be there ;)
