How to remove unwanted partition from hard disk?

80gb new disk recently installed on this machine following a fault on the old 40gb. The installer has inserted a partition [by accident] which I would like to get rid of at about 68gb:12gb. Their problem, I know, but to save a longish journey is there a simple way to remove the partition without losing all the programs, etc? AMD Athlon processor and running windows ME. Also have Norton Ghost 2003 if that will help.

There is no guaranteed way to do this without losing your data, but Partition Magic will normally perform an operation such as this without affecting your existing data, however, I would not recommend using any tool to delete the partition without first backing up all important data.
