Can anyone help me. I have taken a series of digital photos with my Fuji 401F camera. Unfortunately I left the setting on the highest resolution, which is fine for enlarging photos but the files are very large to email.

Is there a way I can reduce the pixel size to enable more speedy transfer by email ?

you can but it wont be printable at the other end.

The first thing you need to do is reduce its size to say 6X4, open your paint app, in my case PSP7 and select resize. once you have done that you can select the image optimizer to fiddle with the compression untill you are happy with the size/quality ratio.

click here and download 'photoresizer. It is free and IMHO the best ever for reducing photo size to around 40Kb for email.
