Probably about £30 - 50. Have a look on Ebay or local adverts.

I'm feeling generous. £80 (that's not an offer!)

  gengiscant 16:16 29 Aug 10

Sorry, but'kjrider' is probably about right, you could try to put a higher price on it with a'or near offer'(ono) and hope to get a better deal.
Or strip it down and sell the parts individually.

£30-£40 tops. It is not worth flogging the parts separately.

I bought a brand new P4 3Ghz, 512MB DDR2, 160GB, DVD Writer for £130 around 2.5 years ago. Admittedly it didn't have an OS (but did have a 1 year warranty).

On that basis a (quite old) second-hand PC of a poorer spec than mine and without any kind of warranty is worth very little indeed.

you will probably have to give it away on freecycle.

We get these spec systems, and sometimes a bit better, donated to our recycling charity. We do them up, clean, upgrade, whatever, then pass them on to deserving causes FOC.
