I can download account information from my bank in .csv format. Does anyone know how I can then turn this data into an Excel spreadsheet?

I run Excel 2000 under XP.

Many thanks.

File > Open, navigate to the folder with the .csv file, on Files of Type select Text files. The file should then open in Excel.

Do you mean save it as Excel file? I also do this, Excel will open the .csv file, you can then edit format to how you like it, but when you save again, use 'Save as' and (As VoG™ stated) use the 'Save as type' dialogue box and select 'Microsoft Excel workbook'
