How to enter a command line option

I wont to start a program with a command line from a short cut,but when i put the bit i wont on the end of the line in the target box and click apply it say the path is not true and wont do it.

I think that the switch has to be outside the quotes. e.g.

"C:\rubbish.exe" /s

Correct. If there are no quotes, surround the command with quotes, then add the switches or parameters at the end. I tend to leave a space between the the quote and the switches.

Thx its now working ok putting it outside the quotes worked.
