How do your links open?

Mine used to open in a new full screen window, but now in a very small new window. I would like them to open in a new tab, and switch to it. IE7.

IE7 > Tools > General > Tabs > Settings > Open links from other programs in: put a dot in 'A new tab in the current window'

Tip: to display the top menu bar for 'File, Edit, View, Favorites,Tools, Help' as it used to be in IE6 right click on a blank bit and put a tick next to 'menu bar'

forgot a bit ! tick 'Enable Tabbed Browsing'
In Tabs > settings > tick 'Always switch to new tabs when they are created'

But I think you still have to right click on the link and choose 'Open in new tab'
unless anyone knows another way

Thanks, I have it set to that 'new tab', but it doesn't do it.

The others, too.

Click on your IE7 Icon in main Window. Properties.Short Cut.Down near the bottom.Run and in the dropdown bar make sure Normal Window is showing.Apply Ok. see if that helps.

Thanks, it was set to Normal Window. I tried Maximised, but no change.

Looks like I shall have to get into the habit of using the right click option of new tab.
