being a newbie i am quite impressed how some of you peeps put a click here in your threads which has helped on numerous occasions , how do you do it ????

You do it by typing the url of a web page
so that http://w w (I've inserted spaces to stop it happening) would become click here
It won't happen until you click the 'post response' button, and the post appears in the forum.

This must be the most asked question of modern times ;)

You can, like FE says, type in a website address and when you click post response it will convert it to the 'click here' hyperlink you are used to seeing.

If you don't want to type in the address you can copy and paste a URL from the address bar of a different IE window using Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V or the right click menu copy/paste as you would for any other cut and paste operation.

One word of warning though, if you are going to "click here" on another thread then hover the mouse over the text for a moment and you will see that the URL you will be pointed to will be shown in the status bar of IE. Always worth checking incase a rouge site has sneaked in as it did recently.

Make sure that the url is typed out exactly as specified, otherwise you may end up with 'This page cannot be found'.
