What do you mean download?

either Windows 2000 or Office 2000 as a download, and if you mean either of these it looks as though you've got a pirate copy - no doubt in error. If that's the case I'm afraid we can't help you - use of the software would be illegal.

Forum Editor - I don't have a pirate copy of 2000. I don't deal in illegal activity. I seem to have worded my question WRONG.

I only want to install Word and Outlook from Office 2000 because I am low on drive space. Is there a way to only select installion of the two.

When setup runs from the CD it should give you the option of which components to install. You can choose to only install Outlook and Word or you can choose to have a "minimal" install of Excel etc. that would require you to indert the CD when you wanted to install them.

You will need to select "custom install" or similar when the prompt appears.

You should be able to do this by going into Custom Set up.

If already installed Control Panel, Add / Remove Programs and click Remove. This will then ask if you want to Repair, Change (maybe Custom) or Remove.

Select Change (or Custom) and follow the prompts. It'll remove anything to unselect.
