How do you add music to a power point slide show

I can make a small slide show in power point, with music added and send via e-mail, the show goes ok and plays, but sound does not, can anyone point me in the right direction please, it playes fine on my own computer.

Have a look in the Powerpoint Help re "Pack and Go Wizard" - might help.Your presentation plays OK on your own PC as the relevant music files are present - not so when you send it to someone else.

you have to send the music file as well. the instruction you are giving powerpoint is just a link to the file on your PC so if you send just the powerpoint file it wont be able to find the linked file

thanks for the reply, I was told to put the photos,and music in the same folder, have tried different ways, all to no avail, I am so near and yet so far,
