One way to uninstall unwanted progs. is to use an uninstaller program like click here or download Ccleaner from click here both of these will ensure complete uninstallation of unwanted apps.

QuickTime should be listed in Add/Remove Programs.

"..go to all programs.." What is "all programs"?

QuickTime is listed in Add/Remove Programs on my XP Pro system.

Add/Remove doesn't list all programs - some have their own installer as you mention but, unless my version of QuickTime is different to more recent examples (installed my verison last year), A/R would appear the correct method.

go to start, all programs, are what you have on your computer

  Stuartli 15:39 21 Aug 04

Just for information, my Program Files' QuickTime folder contains no uninstaller for the untility as expected.

  Stuartli 15:56 21 Aug 04

No, with respect, it's Start>Programs.

This does indeed list the programs (along with utilities etc) available, but it's not termed All Programs.

it is termed "all programs" on my edition of xp home.
only thing I can suggest if you can not uninstall quicktime is to upgrade to a better version and then uninstall
