How do increase settings of 'MinSPs' please

  novice_tyro 12:24 05 Sep 03

My windows 95 PC has started freezing on blue screen with the following message ...
'A VxD, possibly recently installed, has consumed too much stack space. Increase the settings of 'MinSPs in SYSTEM.INI or remove recently installed VxDs. There are currently 6 SPs allocated.'

I don't want to remove the 'recently installed VxD' (virus checker). Ican't find a setting for MinSPs. Can anybody help please?

No need to remove. There probably won't be any seting either. Open System.ini and go to the section titled 386ehn. Add a line
"MinSps=8" without the quotes. Save and exit.
If you still get the message increase to 12, but always in groups of four.
