how do i tell if my desktop is wireless ready

Hi I am in process of buying laptop and going wireless, ihave modem from virgin for desktop but before i go woreless i need to know if my desktop is able to be used wifi. Its an Avalon T9408 and about 3 years old with Vista, any ideas please

Start, Control Panel, Network Connections. If there is a WLAN in there, you can connect wirelessly. If not, you can still use an Ethernet cable as you do now. If you have to have wireless, the easiest way is with a dongle such as click here
