How do I take a screenshot of a pop-up box

I belong to an organisation that lets me contact ex-service friends. I have just started using the service but when I try to send a message for them to pass on to my shipmate, I get an error pop-up box. I reported this to the Forum Support they asked me to send a screenshop.
My problem is that when I try to take a screenshot when the pop-up box is displayed I don't have the facility to copy the item. I can copy normally when the pop-up box is not displayed. I am running Internet Explorer 6 and OS is Windows XP Home. Your help and assistance would be appreciated.

Either PrtScrn (or similar) key or if you ALT+PrtScrn it will copy just the active "box".

Screenhunter will do what you want. Just have it running in the background in readiness.

PaintShop Pro can be used to capture screens.
File/Import/Screen Capture/Start (but set it up first). I use it frequently instead of printing web pages.
xquest
