I have suddenly started receiving messages to download tradedoubler.com. They are arriving so frequently they stop me downloading anything else. Does anyone know what this is & how do I get rid of it please?
I have XP, Spybot S+D, AVG, Spywareblaster & Ad-Aware installed. All are up to date

If you have not done this do it.....click here

click here download, turn of system restore, run, delete all it finds, turn system restore back on and set a restore point.

Thanks Gandalf for your ultra quick reply. My Windows Messenger was already disabled. I had forgotten to mention that I already had Microsoft antispyware installed & active, have now run a scan but nothing found. Have also scanned with Spybot. The messages aren't coming in so frequently now that I have disconnected from the site I was downloading (bkwin.org).
Am off to bed now as I'm up early in the morning but will see if I've still got the problem when I com back.

Everything seems to be working OK today. I'm no longer plagued by download popups. Thanks for your help Gandalf
