How do I stop photos being printed on a web page?

Hi, i have Googled this problem but havenb't had much success, whenever i print out web pages i have to print the images in the pages too but all i want is the content/text, please can anyone save me from wasting my ink?

It somewhat depends on the layout of the page/s but if you can highlight the text you want to print then most printers will have the option to "Print the selection" or similar. It would be in the same place that you select the page numbers etc.

What about in Internet Explorer tools/internet options/ advanced , scroll down to " printing " and un-tick the box " print background colours and images "
