How do I save emails on the server using outlook

  tickhiller 08:26 12 Dec 05

I recently saw instructions in a mag on how to save emails on the ISP server so they can be downloaded on other computers. The instructions were for Outlook Express. I cannot find the appropriate box to tick in Outlook. I would like to run Outlook on my home computer and my laptop for the same email account. Any suggestions?

Go to "Tools > Email Accounts" and select "View or change existing email accounts". In the next box that opens, highlight the email account (you may only have the one) and click the "Change" button. In the next again box that opens, click the "More Settings" button and then select the Advanced tab.

Tick the box "Leave a copy of messages on the server" and click OK. Continue the wizard to completion.
