Use Revo Uninstaller (for anything you want, not just Thunderbird)

I have tried using Programs and features. The comp. just sits there and does nothing.

I have used Revo before but it removed more than needed causing problems.

PS. Vista home premium.

what still needs to be removed?the program or the profile?or both?
when you say the comp sits there can you expand a bit.
Also when you state youve used revo before was it to remove thunderbird?

Programs and Features - Uninstall Program should work. But Revo is probably your best solution being careful what you tick/untick. Failing that try CCleaner's uninstall.

Answer

Used Revo seems ok.
