How is your Address Book stored?

If it is a copy of the original then simply copy it back to the original location (C:\Documents and Settings\*YOU*\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book). You will need to show hidden files to navigate to the location.

Dont know how to do that, can you give me a step x step please, I always did it by way of import/export.

I copied it to stick using export, csv comma etc

As johndrew says it depends how you saved it to your memory stick. See if this helps as well

`I copied it to stick using export, csv comma etc`

In that case you should be able to open OE (i am assuming you are using Outlook Express for e-mails) then `File/Import/Address Book` ensuring that you are searching your memory stick.

If you are still having trouble post back.

yes its OE I use and I did "the usual" way of navigating to where addie book was on memory stick, ie within my docs/stick.

But to open and import, file type was not available because i think it had been saved as xls file. In other words, I had copied/pasted addie book to an xls spreadsheet .

I should not have saved it that way but I have now typed in addresses so its sorted now.

Thanks for advice all
