I am running Win XP Pro,which is new to me. I want to re-map my CD-Rom drive from the system created D: to become Z:. How do I do this?

Using "Help and Support" in the start menu, search for "assigning drive letter" which will give you full instructions.

Right click on your "My computer" Icon, then on manage from the drop down menu, then click on "Disk management". Change any or all your drive letters from there except for the main drive, usually your C drive.

Thanks for you help resloving my issue. It is much appreciated. My CD drive is now mapped to Z: and I have run Drive Mapper to change all pointers to it.
