Is it possible to attach an edited image (partial screenshot) to a post?

If so, how?

FastStone Capture

I use Faststone Capture to make the image and then post as done here using a Firefox Add-on called Simplest-Image-Hosting.net. You can Google for further information.

"...then post as done here..."

Hi Nontek and thanks for replying. I've got the image ready, but its that phrase "as done here" that has me up a tree. What does "as done here" mean? I don't see any facility on the Help room page (such as "Click here to attach an image") through which actually to do the attaching.

Uh,... do you mean I should post the image elsewhere, then LINK to it here?

One of the icons above this 'reply box' is a small Globe with a green arrow, left-click on this icon and then insert the URL for your image in the space provided, click on OK and your image will appear in this 'reply box' as a red message which you can change to say 'Click here' or similar. to be added to your Post.

I hope that makes sense.

"post the image elsewhere, then LINK to it here"

Yes that is exactly what to do, this forum does not allow pics in a post so you have to post a link to where you have put it - photobucket or similar (choose the Direct Link url if available on the host site)

Thanks, all. Never done that before. Will give it a try.
