How do I overclock my processor?

  mynamesbrad 09:26 06 Jan 14

I have an intel i7 3770, I'm not even sure if it can be overclocked but how would I go about trying it? Thanks!

But seriously: others know much more about it than I do, but be aware that a) it will likely invalidate any warranty you may have, and b) done inappropriately, it can easily lead to system instability at best and knackering your processor at worst.

You have an i7, yet want to overclock - are you nuts??

Do you have a i7-3770 or 3770K. The K can be overclocked. But I doubt that there is much to be gained as any bottlenecks could well be elsewhere without an SSD.

Woolwell .... it is a 3770

If it is a 3770 minus K then forget overclocking.
