how do I open a bin file

  bobatnorthway 21:19 31 Dec 07

I have downloaded an application that consists of a bin file and a cue file. I have created a virtual Magiciso drive, but havent a clue what to do now ?

Right-click on your virtual drive and choose "mount image" (or similar), navigate to where your bin and cue files are stored, select the cue file and click Open.

You can also burn the image to CD using Nero or any other burning software.

Yes thanks for that, I think nero might be easier, if I create an iso file with Nero, how do I then convert it to use,

What sort of file is contained in the bin file, is it a video, an application, etc.?

Its actually a DVd editing programme, Sonic.

Open Nero, choose the "Create/Burn disk image" option, select the Cue file associated with the bin file and click Burn. That will burn the application to CD and you can then install the application to your PC using the CD in the normal manner.
