How Do I get Rid Of This Bar In Explorer?

Every time I start IE6 my home page changes to
click here and I'm sick of it. Changing it to click here works only for that session, and then when I close IE6 and then open it again, the same home page is back.
It adds a bar at the bottom of Explorer.
Does anyone know how I can get rid of it?
Cheers.

Click on Tools in IE then Internet options. Enter the URL you want as your home page then click on apply at the bottom of the panel, then click OK. That should set your home page permanently for you.

You have been 'infected' with lop.com - click here for removal info.

Download and install Spywareblaster to prevent re-infection

download this excellent free Spybot remover that will protect you from these attacks, and if you download a Beta version you can also lockdown your Registry keys for the homepage and hosts files to stop them from even trying to change your homepage.

It also makes browsing far quicker.

Avaliable for Free download, the wonderful Spybot Search & Destroy click here

Hope this helps!!!

PS. They are swines - Dialers, Hijackers and spys.

I tried Spybot Search & Destroy version 1.1 but it didn't work.
In the end I went to Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel and found a program called Lop in there and deleted it. That actually did the trick.
