How do I get an icon for received E.Mails?

I use B.T.Yahoo B.B. I so have to log on just to check if I have any received E.Mails.Is there any way that I could have an icon in the notification area or desk top to let me know of received E.Mails.

If you are using your e-mail on a web base, then the answer is (unfortunately) no. However, if you set up Outlook as your e-mail client, then the answer is yes.
