Windows 7

I was sent an email advertising a free DivX programme. The only criterior is...

"Windows only requires Intel Sandybridge/Ivybridge processors"

How do I find out if I have Intel Sandybridge/Ivybridge processors?

Right Click My Computer/Properties

If this is the free program ClickHere DivXPlus

The way I understand it is one of the features "supports hardware accelerated encoding with Intel Sync" only works with the Sandybridge/Ivybridge CPU so if you aren't bothered about that extra feature 'Intel Sync' it doesn't matter what your processor is.

Hi lotvic

Thanx for that, I already have the free player. But I just started to download this update and am now uncertain if the bit of the software I was most interested in is indeed free. It says...

Stream to DLNA compatible devices throughout your home 15 day trial includes MPEG-2 video support in converter.

I think I'll give it a miss, cheers anyway.
