How do I fdisk an external hdd with Win2k OS?

I need to get some data off an old machine. The cd writer will not work and an external cd writer is not recognised. I have an external hdd which connects through the parallel port and can be seen but only 2Gb of 6.4Gb. How do I fdisk the external drive (drive 'F') to get it to see all the space? Original data is on an NT box, do I need to fdisk from there and if so how or can I fdisk on a modern Win2k box and again if so, how. Failing that I may just have to retrieve the data in stages (its about 3.2 Gb)

Any advice will be apreciated. Thanks.

In windows 2k right click on My computer and choose Manage then Disk Management. Right Click on the disk and you can partition it there.

WinNT 2 gig limit is a pain.Try creating two 2 gig partitions then move the data.

Managed 3 x 2Gb partitions and data recovery now underway. Thanks for the prompt reply.
