How do I control order of things booting up????

Is there any way of controlling the order in which programs/processes boot up?

My problem is: I have a pc using a wireless internet connection and a wireless shared network storage. When the machine boots up, the bit of windows that looks for all the drives, tries to find the wireless network storage drive before the wireless network adapter has sorted itself out. So I always get an error "can't find x drive". Then if you leave it for a minute, everythings working and the drive is there.

Is there any way of getting the usb port that the wireless network adapter is connected to, to boot up first? Or any way of delaying when windows searches for its drives??

Startup Delayer looks useful, but I have no experience of it click here
