I have an Armada 110 laptop and I want to connect the BT Voyager router. on the rear of my laptop there is one port only for connection of phone line so where do I connect the ethernet cable supplied with my router? According to the spec for my laptop it is ethernet enabled but I`m not very well up on computers so I`m a bit lost with his one

An ethernet connector looks like a "fat" style telephone connector but slightly larger.

that`s what I mean my laptop has the connection point for the small dsl cable not the larger ethernet cable so what do I do?

Well, if it's supposed to be ethernet enabled and it isn't then complain to the supplier/maker.

Itmay have some non standard Ethernet connection requiring an adaptor.

If it has no Ethernet connection, you need an Ethernet card to slot in or a USB to Ethernet thing, if you have USB.

You can get some plug in cards that do Ethernet and wireless, but they are a bit pricey.
