How do I configure Linksys WUSB54GS adaptor?

Hi!

I'm new to the forum, and would be really grateful for any help in configuring the above for a SKY Broadband wireless network.

I have searched the web, searched the linksys support site, pestered sky and alienated my wife (!) to little effect!

The only way I can find the network on my PC is by using the wireless zero configuration wizard - which seems to be a long way round! It works fine when I do that...but there must be an easier way!

I am running Windows XP, and would be very grateful for any help!

Cheers!

There should not be any wizard involved. Assuming that you installed the adapter with only its driver and not the software (ie. NOT installed with the product CD interface), just single-click on the WLAN icon in the Notification Area, refresh the network list that appears, choose your SSID and click Connect. Enter your WPA-PSK (which you should be using) in both boxes - ideally by pasting it from a text file to avoid errors - and click Connect again. Job done.
