How to delete text from a scanned adobe acrobat file

If you get a Message below when trying to delete text using "Edit Document Text" or "Touchup Text Tool" in Adobe Acrobat, do the following:

All or part of the selection has no available system font. You cannot add or delete text using the currently selected font.

  1. Click on the Edit Document Text" or "Touchup Text Tool"
  2. Highlight the text to delete
  3. Right click mouse, go to properties, pop-up called touchup properties opens
  4. Click on the Fill box and choose "No Color"
  5. The text should be gone.
