Can anyone advise me on how to copy a fresh install of Win XP. I Have formatted my pc and reinstalled XP on an older PC which I still like to use.

I think this may be a good idea so I don't have to go thru all the necessary reinstalling of the drivers and every thing else that goes with it.

If poss, keep it reasonably easy guys,in layman terms.

Regards

Brian

Paragon Backup and Recovery (Advanced) Free

Use this to make an image of your drive.

The drivers from the older PC will be wrong for the newer PC

I rely on Acronis for backup/restore, but as Jock1e says it will only work to restore the PC on which the original was made. It won't run on a different PC.

I've found Paragon to be every bit as good as Acronis, and it's free.
