All you need is Irfanview, a superb piece of freeware, plus the plug-ins:

Thanks. Had some problems downloading this software. Kept saying couldn't find it. But eventually did. Hope I've downloaded correctly.

Now I can go ahead and convert the Word Document Pictures? There is little White Box bottom right it says: Type To Search.

Tried opening the Word Document with the picture in it with Infanview, no success. Says Format not recognised

Cut out the picture with a a screen grabber - I do it frequently. Save as a .jpg

MWSnap click here

I have done Cutting & Pasting before in Word. I'm a bit not too clear how you "Cut out the picture with a a screen grabber - and save it as jpg

Please explain.

I use FastStone Capture - you can capture just the part of any page that you want to keep as a .jpg

Very easy to use.

You run the MWSnap program - and it cuts out a section of the screen. To define where, you draw a box around it.

It's not a standard cut and paste, it's a separate program.

The IMHO, great thing about FastStone, is that it automatically saves your picture in your My Pictures folder, without any further action from yourself - for example ....]
