How can u back-up to floppy or a CD received mails

using Internet Explorer v6 with Outlook Express v6.
on my XP machine erh carnt find the folder application data which I used to save them from but I think that was for just the contact email address list.

It the acutall emials I have received I could do with putting on a back-up disk.

Another way would be to make a new folder on say your desktop, select the messages you want to save and drag them to the new folder and then send the folder to a floppy or CD.

If you want to save your contacts in a similar way, use file > Export > address book and follow the wizard.

You learn something everyday here.
Carnt believe it so simple to drag a received email to a desktop folder.

Why MS didn't give or desing any option for backing up is strange.
