How can I tell if XP Pro is 64 Bitt ?

need to donwload the Intelli-type pro and IntelliMouse both v5.5 for wirless media keyboard and optical mouse but there is a different download for WinXP Pro 64 bit

I have WinXP Pro but how would I know if its a 64 bit version please

Look at your XP Pro Disc it should say 64 bit. It is unlikeley to be 64 bit unless you upgraded from 32 bit.

Do you have a 64bit AMD processor fitted? If you don't it will definitely be the 32 bit version. Even if you are running a 64 bit AMD machine it's very likely to be the 32 bit drivers you need.

Select <My Computer> from the Start menu and right click then choose Properties from the drop down menu. It should tell in the General tab.

Thanks for that. I built the machine myself and just asked for XP Pro so I take it is just 32bit as it would cost extra also.
